Midori is a fast, lightweight web browser based on WebKit that doesn’t require installation, though still in development.Midori features full integration with GTK+2, fast rendering with Web Kit, tabs, windows, and session management, flexibly configurable Web Search, user scripts and user styles support, straightforward bookmark management, customizable and extensible interface, extensions written in C, and custom context menu actions.
Midori is based on WebKit, the same layout rendering engine used by Safari, Mac’s default web browser. It offers standard features such as a tabbed interface, support for bookmarks, browsing history and a customizable built-in search engine. It’s also surprisingly fast, and doesn’t require installation – you can even run it from a USB key.
